Barbara J. Allen, LMT has been practicing massage therapy in the State of Florida since 1991. Her decision to enter the field of massage therapy stems from experiencing in herself and others how appropriate touch can be a healing experience on body, mind, and spirit levels.

"I needed to practice massage therapy first before finding the next step of Trauma Touch Therapy™. It is said that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. Doing this work is truly humbling—I feel honored to be able to experience the courage in those of us who are healing from the inside out. The sense of trust that develops as the sessions progress is an exceptional gift. I have a deep sense of being called to do this work, and that indeed, this is part of my path.
